LO SILK NO 3 COLLECTION
Aligned with the core values of simplicity and timelessness, Lơ Silk No 3 marks a association with the weaving and dyeing craftsmanship of Lãnh Mỹ A. This legendary black silk, dyed from the Mac Nua fruit (diospyro mollis), shines increasingly lustrous through time. The meticulous dyeing and sun-drying process, repeated up to 100 times by artisans with over 40 years of experience, makes Lãnh exceptionally valuable.
Additionally, Lơ Silk uses 22mm satin silk from Tân Châu and 19mm silk and organza satin from Bao Loc, Lam Dong. The fabrics undergo an equally intricate natural dyeing process with ingredients like coc vine, noni root, and dragon's blood tree, resulting in shades such as pearl, cream gold, and earth.
The essence of traditional attire from ethnic groups and the diverse cultural heritage of An Giang is also carefully infused into these designs.
The 3R (Reduce - Reuse - Recycle) approach is a guiding principle for Lơ Silk. We minimize waste during production and repurpose fabric remnants into creative and meaningful accessories.
Lơ Silk embraces the mission of preserving and sharing the values of endangered crafts like Lãnh Mỹ A. We hope these sentiments and aspirations resonate with those who appreciate and cherish Vietnam's traditional heritage. Through this, each woman may own a piece of silk as a proud artifact of legacy.
